A neuropsychologist is a licensed psychologist with expertise in how cognitive skills and behavior are related to brain structures and functions. Brain functioning is evaluated by objectively testing memory and thinking skills. A neuropsychologist works with other medical disciplines such as neurosurgery, neurology, physical medicine & rehabilitation, and primary care physicians in order to evaluate and treat people with brain dysfunctions.
